Senior Software Engineer职位描述：


Description –-
This position requires the person to have 2 years of technical experience in working with CAD or PLM tools like Aveva Marin (formally Tribon M3) or Foran in Shipbuilding industry. This person will be primarily involved in the integration efforts between Aveva Marin/Tribon and Windchill products. He/she will be responsible for design/architecture of Aveva/Tribon’s side of interfaces and data extractions. This will require 2+ programming experience in JAVA, C++, XML, DB(SQL) along with general experience in developing software applications (both Web and client/server applications). Candidate should be a self starter in terms of taking the lead on working with other engineering staff and other functional groups like product mgmt and QA during his/her design and implementation tasks. The candidate should have adequate English skills (both verbal & written) in order to interact with people in US and India engineering centers to effectively conduct his/her daily development responsibilities.
Responsibilities –-
* Work with Windchill developers to design and implement interfaces between Shipbuilding CAD tools like Aveva/Tribon M3 and Windchill PLM solution
* Design and implement extraction of Tribon Meta data for Windchill integration
* Design C++ and/or Java APIs, business objects, and unit tests
* Design and implement SQL queries
* Design and implement JSP pages
* Performance Analysis
Technical Skills –-
Required: C++ or Java programming & Object Oriented design, UML, XML, Source code configuration management, SQL
Desired: Web application infrastructure & design, JSP, familiarity with JUnit (or similar regression test technology), Rational Rose, Clearcase
Communication & Business Skills –-
Adequate English skills to effectively communicate with other team members in US and India (both verbal and written), Flexible, Able to work independently, Self-Motivated, Team Player and Familiarity with structured software development methodologies
Experience --
Good familiarity with Shipbuilding CAD products like Tribon M3 or Aveva Marin or Foran. General knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Shipbuilding, Product data Management, Revision Controlled Product Structure Management (BOM), Change Mgmt, Familiarity with Workflow Mgmt/Process Definition
Educational Requirements --
Bachelors degree in related field (computer science or software engineering or mathematics) plus 2-5 years of experience OR an advanced degree in related field plus 2+ years experience.
