在建的苏州诺华制药科技有限公司是诺华在中国投资兴建的新的制药生产设施和研发中心，是诺华2006年在中国的一项重大投资。该项目将建设一座集开发和生产功能于一体的工厂，使苏州诺华制药科技有限公司成为全球生产布局及供应链的重要组成部分。这也是世界著名跨国医药企业率先在中国建立的供应全球市场的原料药生产和开发基地。
该项目地处常熟经济开发区，包括实验室，中试车间，生产厂房以及其他配套设施，总面积228，000平方米，总投资额达1.75亿美元。2006年2月奠基，预计研发中心和生产基地将分别于2007年和2008年投入使用。设施一流的新工厂采用最佳的生产工艺体系、精湛的技术和先进的机械设备，将着重进行生产工艺研究，为诺华全球用于治疗白血病、癫痫病、高血压和其他疾病的创新药品开发生产原料中间体。

Job Title: IT SAP Specialist

Reporting to: IT Manager
Role Purpose
-Understand the business environment of the business area being supported.
-Facilitate work between business and IT groups too “translate” requirements and enable creation of value added IT solutions.
-Support the running of SAP system.
-Improve the understanding of SAP system in other functional units.
Major Accountabilities
-Effectively support IT Manager and SAP Project Team in the SAP project implementation.
-Provide related technical and functional assistance and support to all SAP users.
-Compile and provide SAP guidelines and instruction for all core / key user support teams.
-Employ best practices, tools and proven techniques to accomplish key SAP tasks.
-Develop and improve strategies for SAP technical environments.
-Provide support to ERP users; check their capability to use applications properly.
-Assess requirements of software upgrades / version releases in different functional SAP areas and ensure alignment with business processes or contribute to their evolution.
-Support Application Service Management in assessing causes or trends in change requests.
-Maintain technical business documentations (scenario, script, procedures) and user handbook.
-Prepare training for new comer or for new project related personnel.
-Ensure proper implementation of global SAP standards, policies and systems platforms.
-Support other projects and their delivery in accordance with project goals, time scales and costs in compliance with Novartis methodologies.
-Drive IT Strategy for the area of responsibility and contribute to the business strategy for area and influence/persuade for its acceptance. Ensure local IT strategy is aligned with global IT strategy and local business strategy.

Education / Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in the field of Computer science or relevant discipline is required.
Experience:
-2-3 years experience in IT application / SAP support and / or development; ideally in chemical or pharmaceutical industries.
-In-depth understanding of related ERP/MRP II systems, especially on SAP R/3 and related business workflow as well.
-Familiar with modules of SAP R/3, sound knowledge of Material Management (MM), Sales & Distribution (SD), Production Planning (PP), Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), etc.
-Sensitive to the latest IT trends, such as e-Business, Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
-Some industrial knowledge in areas like Logistics, Production, Quality Control, Finance Control and accounting.
-Takes initiative. Pro-actively develops and act on ideas and solutions beneficial to the company.
-Basic knowledge of computer system validation (CSV) or GxP, and information security.
-Basic understanding of business processes in one or more relevant areas especially QA/QC preferred.
-Basic understanding of best practices in IT service support (ITIL).
-Chinese language skills (required to liaise with local business partners and external suppliers)
-Good English skills (spoken and written)
-Has produced and given presentations in English on IT matters
