1.Services division manages video networks on behalf of its customers, and is a world leader in physical and electronic media services. The division’s offering spans all types of video network services management, post-production services including visual effects, out-of-home advertising services, and film and DVD services.
2.Systems division provides and integrates video-focused systems and solutions, playing a strategic role at both ends of network distribution; on the one hand, helping broadcasters and network operators distribute content, and on the other, providing operators with the devices that media consumers need to access and enjoy content, wherever and whenever they want.
3.Technology division develops and monetizes core video technologies through the licensing of patents, IC designs and software, while anticipating future standards in an industry in constant evolution. A major R&D Center has opened in Oct.2004 in Beijing.

业务范围：
汤姆逊集团是致力于媒体和文化娱乐产业的全球性技术和服务公司。集团包括Technicolor及GrassValley等世界著名品牌，在全球三大洲共拥有2万4千名雇员，主要业务集中于三个核心部门：服务部门、系统部门及技术部门。

1．服务部门。
服务部门为客户管理视频网络，并且是全球物理媒体和电子媒体服务的佼佼者。所提供的服务包括各种视频网络服务管理、后期制作服务，包括提供视觉特效、户外广告服务、电影和DVD服务。

2．系统部门。
系统部门提供并集成视频系统和解决方案，在网络传输链的两端担任策略性角色；一方面，帮助广播公司和网络运营商传输内容，另一方面为运营商提供客户接收内容所需要的各种设备。

3．技术部门。
主要专注于宽带领域涉及的产品及尖端技术研究，IC集成电路的设计和网络与安全的软件开发，技术领域还包括汤姆逊集团广泛的专利技术许可。2004年10月，汤姆逊集团在北京建立了全球性的研发中心。
